The Community Noticeboard exists for exactly that. Posters, flyers, postcards and newsletter ads — properly designed, properly typeset, and priced for the reality of a committee budget.
I have been involved in organising community events since the 1980s. I know what it feels like the week before — when the posters aren't quite right and the printer wants three weeks and you needed them yesterday. That's the person I'm designing for.
